1. Accommodation & Room (9/10)
Positives: The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and modernly equipped with new furniture. The air conditioning was very powerful. The beds were large and comfortable with a firm mattress. The bathroom was exceptionally spacious, featuring a toilet, bidet, a huge walk-in shower, and a separate bathtub. I did not notice any noise issues. The balcony was spacious, fitted with sturdy (plastic) chairs and a table. Most rooms face the pool, while higher-category rooms offer sea views.

Minuses (-1 point): Complete lack of drying racks or options to dry clothes and swimwear on the balcony after returning from the beach.

2. Food, Drinks & All-Inclusive (6/10)
Food: The food was hygienically safe, but do not expect a gourmet experience. The selection and presentation were unimpressive, and dishes were often repetitive. I also noticed recycled/re-purposed ingredients from previous meals, which can cause issues for people with histamine intolerance. Meals were initially under-seasoned, though this improved about two days before our departure.

Drinks & Snacks: Mixed cocktails were of average quality and prepared using local spirits, with noticeable inconsistency—each bartender made the same cocktail differently. Coffee was good, but only at the bars. Daytime snacks were accessible outside the main restaurant at both the pool bar and beach bar. Staff will also serve you directly at your sunbed (for a small tip, of course).

3. Beach, Pools & Resort Grounds (9/10)
Beach & Sea (20/10): The beach and sea are simply spectacular—beautiful bright sand and crystal-clear turquoise water. Truly amazing. There were always plenty of free sunbeds available.

Cabanas & Pools: Beach cabanas were quite expensive (€250/day for smaller ones, €350/day for larger ones). The 3 swimming pools were very clean with pleasantly warm water. The greenery and landscaping throughout the resort grounds were beautifully maintained.

Minuses (-1 point): Lack of changing cabins on the beach. Having to change in public restrooms is not fitting for a resort of this category.

4. Services, Staff & Animation
Staff: The staff is genuinely helpful, polite, and abundant. Most employees speak decent English. Tipping (baksheesh) is customary and expected, which is completely standard for the region.

Animation: An animation program ran throughout the day, though I did not participate personally and cannot evaluate it in detail.

5. Location & Climate
Setting & Transport: Almaza Bay is a very beautiful resort town located about 50 minutes by bus from Marsa Matrouh Airport.

Climate & Sea Conditions: The area has a much milder climate compared to Red Sea resorts (e.g., Hurghada/Sharm). In July/August, temperatures average around 30°C for air and 27°C for sea water. Due to northern winds, larger waves and red flag conditions occur occasionally, though sea conditions are calmer toward the peninsula at the end of the bay.

6. Overall Summary & Recommendation
Verdict: The resort has very few flaws, and I recommend it overall. However, it is better suited for adult travelers and couples than for families with children (the neighboring JAZ Almaza Bay is better tailored for families with kids). The minor shortcomings mentioned could easily be resolved by management.
