Stunning modern Lebanese food, every dish perfect and possibly the best meat (lamb and chicken) we have eaten in Egypt (we have eaten at some nice places).
A perfect chocolate fondant demonstrated great work in the kitchen
A lovely dining room, with beautiful and understated modern decor.
No wait, as we had pre-booked by email, which was handled efficiently.

Great experience with my wife at Byblos : excellent service, and on point. The food was delicious.
Overall a very good experience, too bad non smoking indoor tables were full cause it was a frisky night in Cairo and the heaters were not very powerful.

This used to be my favorite Lebanese spot, but sorry, Babel has surpassed you in food and service.
I was there last night after not coming here for about a year.
Let’s start with service, which should be 5 stars at the four seasons:
I got there and wanted to sit outside and it was a bit cold. I had to ask for them to move the heaters rather than them just offering to move them.
I constantly had to look for waiters to ask for things. After our appetizers our main course came and nobody offered to provide us with a new plate and utensils.
Let’s move on to the food.
Appetizers:
1. Beetroot salad is really good
2. Hummus is average. Nothing close to Babel
3. Makanak and sausages were not good at all. Dry and didn’t taste good. The one from Babel is so good.
4. Labneh was average and ok
5. Haloumi was good.
6. Fattah with shrimp was the star of the night. This was hands down our best dish. The shrimp itself is so tasty and this was the only dish that was better than Babel.
Main entree:
– got the sea bass which was good, but not mind blowing.
Dessert:
Pistachio baklava. I like this dessert. Crunch baklava with ice cream in the middle.
Conclusion:
1. If you want high end Lebanese, then go to Babel
2. If you want to dine at the four seasons, then go to Eight, Zitouni, or Riviera. They are superior to Babel.

Everything was amazing!
The atmosphere was great thanks to the live music and performances, and the service and food were top-notch.
We ordered some tapas to share, the portions were generous and everything was delicious.
We really enjoyed our drinks, and the shisha was also a highlight; the flavor was spot on!
