A perfect last night in Cairo.

I started on the 10th floor at the Jazz Bar before heading up to the 11th-floor rooftop, and the contrast between the two spaces makes the experience even better. There was a bit of initial confusion around happy hour that didn’t start things off perfectly, but the staff quickly turned that around and couldn’t have been more attentive afterward.

Youssef, the manager, was exceptional—warm, present, and genuinely invested in making sure everything felt right. That level of care is what really stayed with me.

As a New Yorker, I was especially impressed to find one of the few places in Cairo that can deliver a proper, New York–quality martini. Even more surprising, the wine selection is thoughtful and well-priced, including an excellent and very affordable sparkling rosé.

The food was lovely, the sunset views are hard to beat, but it’s the attention and hospitality that made the night memorable.

I’ll absolutely be back on my next visit.

الاطلالة رائعة والاكل لذيذ، طلبت حواوشي وكان كتير طيب والطاقم لطيف جدا وبشوشين بس الشيشة ما بنصح فيا. المطعم عبارة عن ٧ طاولات تقريبا حوالي مسبح صغير ف ممكن اول ماتدخلو تحتارو وتفكرو حالكم بالمكان الغلط 😅 بس لا هاد المكان صح وهو هيك. المطعم بقلب اوتيل كيمبينسكي نفسو بس بالطابق ١١
