My partner selected this restaurant overlooking the Nile when he studied the menu while we were still home in New York. Our server Shalaby was knowledgeable and responsive. We enjoyed the wines he recommended. My sea bass was so delicious. My partner’s osso buco turned out to be mostly bone, but Shalaby replaced it immediately with a fresh dish that was perfect. That too was delicious. Our tiramisu was, shall I say, different, but we are from New York. The decor is serene. The service is impeccable. We arrived too early for live entertainment, but we did see a beautiful piano. All the headshots of Italian American celebrities gave us a chuckle.

We dined here with kids and they absolytely loved this place. Pizzas and salads are of shared size and so far the best Americano coffee and espresso I had in Cairo. Also wide selection of Egyptian wines
