Unfortunately, when I went with my mom and my sister and we paid 9000 EGP, it was a very bad experience. There were literally no materials just leftover broken glass pieces, no proper strips, and no tape. We were told “the materials are sharing,” which basically meant whoever grabs something first gets it. That’s not how we behave and it’s definitely not a professional way to run a place that charges that much under the claim that materials are expensive. Sadly this actually happened and someone even pulled the material out of my mom’s hand because of this system.
As for the designs, there were only 5–6 options, and they were very bad. In the end, the instructor herself suggested that we choose other designs from Pinterest with her approval and suggestion, and we had to draw them ourselves by hand because “the printer was broken.”
There was also only one iron, and only the instructor was allowed to use it while we just watched (which makes you wonder why we even came to learn). Then the iron broke, and we wasted a lot of time waiting for her to send a courier to bring another one. Because of that, we didn’t finish our piece. She promised to compensate us and meet us outside later to finish it so that we wouldn’t escalate it at the place but unfortunately she kept avoiding us afterwards after trying to reach out to her over 1 month.
The place itself had the worst customer service in every way and was very rude. They refused to let us in until they confirmed that we had paid the full payment. I can understand that to some extent, but I later realized they probably insist on taking the full amount in advance because if you saw the level of the workshop, you wouldn’t continue. On top of that, the staff’s attitude was completely unacceptable and had absolutely nothing to do with respect.
There was also no safety at all. There wasn’t proper lighting, and the place refused to redirect the lights so we could see. There were no safety glasses or gloves either and we got injured with the glass cutting several times and by chance one of the attendees had tweezers in her bag to pull out the glass pieces… so there isn’t even first aid kit nor plasters, we actually wrapped tissues and paper tape !.
Honestly, I won’t forgive you. The place is truly unprofessional and impolite, the staff there is immature and I will warn everyone not to go there or attend a workshop with this instructor.
I have photo evidence of all of this.
Unfortunately, there has been serious denial and an unrespectful accusation that I’m lying, along with claims about things that never happened—while all the evidence exists. Instead of apologizing and admitting the mistake, this only proves the lack of professionalism and is simply an attempt to delete any negative comments or honest reviews. If you’re confident about yourselves, stop deleting people’s comments and experiences.
