One of the worst government offices I’ve ever dealt with. Chaos, disorganization, favoritism, and only one window is open.

If you request a “print” for the insurance policy, they ask for a payment receipt (Fawry) for ten pounds, and this costs you fifteen pounds, and the difference goes to (Fawry) and the kiosk under the building, and of course you go down five floors and come back up again in the elevator queue???!!

I never imagined I’d get everything done while standing! Thank you to everyone, and thank you to the respectful employee who refused to let the women’s queue mix with the men’s. I truly thank her because I couldn’t thank her in the crowd. 💕💕💕

It’s a very old residential building, and the social security office occupies the fifth floor. It’s extremely crowded, and the ventilation is terrible. Some employees are very kind, like Mr. Mohamed in Apartment 1 (he’s in the computer office) and Mr. Mohamed El-Halawany and his colleagues in the mailroom. They are very polite, but the rest, due to the immense pressure, sometimes get frustrated. This office hasn’t seen any improvements in over 20 years, despite its importance and the services it provides.

It’s a bit crowded, and now you have to pay via Fawry. You go down the street, pay, and then go up to the fifth floor to get your insurance printout.
