I write this regarding my experience working with Mohamed Nasser of Mohamed Nasser Law Firm in Cairo Egypt. In 2019, my company Abna Optical, with locations in the United States & Egypt, retained the firm of Mohamed Nasser to handle fraudulent activities with a power of attorney which resulted the loss of millions of EGP and my business.

It took over one year to get the initial complaint filed. When I inquired about why there has been such a long delay, the firm continued to give me excuse after excuse. The firm claimed they did not receive payment, when in fact it was confirmed, they did receive my money, and just had it in another one of their accounts. After this timely mishap, the complaint was finally filed, however it was incomplete as the evidentiary documents I provided them with were not included in the filed complaint. A complaint filed without evidence was ultimately the reason I lost my case.
During the course of the lawsuit, I continued to communicate with the firm to ensure they have all the necessary documents and information to build my case correctly. Providing evidence to support a case is by far the most basic step in any lawsuit, and this firm failed to do so to prove my case. My case involved a power of attorney that was taken advantage of and used to sell my business without my knowledge. However, the power of attorney this individual had was for a different business, and NOT the one that was sold. This law firm did not notice this key piece of information, which was all that was needed to win my case. Just six months after they filed the incomplete complaint, the firm unexpectedly withdrew from the case. According to the lead attorney, Ahmed Ragab, claims to have withdrawn because the case was “tiring” to him.
The most important facts in the case were never provided to the courts. There were determinantal oversights in the key facts of the case. Then the firm decided to withdraw from my case due to their own negligence and incompetence. This firm kept all the money they were given to see this case through, when in fact they did not. I have been completely ignored by this firm in my attempts to make this situation right. Not only this, but the law in Egypt mandates a fine to be paid whenever a loss occurs. This case loss cost me over 2,000,000 EGP in fines. I hired them to help me with a business issue and ended up being in a worse place after retaining this law firm. I highly do not recommend retaining this firm if you are seeking competent and honest legal representation.
