Amazing nostalgic ambience. Food Quality is very poor though – service is very slow and unprofessional whether the place is empty or crowded. But such a GREAT place for a royal feel cup of coffee

I was told to come here, just for the place. But when I stepped into this establishment, I was taken back to last millennium. Everything just felt so baroque, classy, majestic, beautiful and magnificent.
As we already had quite a big breakfast, we ordered coffees and danish. The coffees — espresso lingo and cafe mocha were done well, flavours top-notch, topped with perfect foam.
My danish came slightly warm with sticky, glossy surface on the danish with a cut of pineapple & peach on a dollap of whipped cream. The danish was a cinnamon roll yet slightly dense and more of bread like than pastry.
Overall, the service, food and experience was great. We would surely visit Trianon again, maybe at the Downtown Cairo next round as we are staying there. Superbly recommended even just for a cup of tea.
