The food was fine but not that special
We ordered mixed grill, Lebanese kofta
And tahini
The tahini was really overpriced and was not that good I felt like I was eating yogurt not Tahini
So in my opinion there’s better restaurants that you can go to if you need Lebanese food

The view is not interesting

Tamara alex is ok but Tamara’s Cairo are great
Something in the food can’t be described as it is the same ingredients but I don’t like to be intangible negative but maybe lacks passion from the cook, in Arabic it is نفس
One main course plate came warm not hot, but I won’t go again, not because the food was bad but because I am used to Tamara Cairo standards

I used to consider Tamara as the best restaurant that serves Lebanese food in Alexandria. We went for dinner there yesterday, and it was SO DISAPPOINTING.

First thing, people ARE NOT as friendly nor welcoming as they used to be. We entered the place, nobody welcomed us, nobody asked where to set or anything.

They are used to serve a free zaater and zeit with bread once you choose your table. They did after 20 minutes while serving the appetizers we picked.

So for the service, I rate them 2/5.

The place DID NOT seem as CLEAN as usual. There were too many flies. 2/5 for cleanliness.

Talking about food.

As appetizers, We ordered Fattoush. There was too much bread and too little vegetables. I rate it 2/5. We also ordered vine leaves. It was okay but we had to ask for Toamya 3 times.

We also order hot potato, but it was served with the main dish which was fattah batenjan. And it wasn’t as good as usual.

Fattah was extremely disappointing. They served it with so little, old, very bad rice. We didn’t finish it. There were barely batenjan, all bread. I rate it 1/5

As a drink I ordered Aeran milk, it was the only good thing about that dinner.

It took them so long to prepare the order, although the place wasn’t crowded at all.

We asked for the check, here comes the surprise. The prices are different from the prices in the menu. Their excuse was that they add 12% on the prices. Then they add 14% as sales taxes, which means they take taxes over taxes. I tried to explain to the waiter, but of course it was in vain.

We were excited to have a nice dinner, but it was a DISASTER. We felt that we got RIPPED OFF.

I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE.
