I am writing this as a foreign traveller to Egypt.
When travelling, no one expects to get injured, but sometimes it happens, and it can be incredibly stressful to find a reliable doctor in a foreign country where English communication isn’t always easy. During my trip, I badly sprained my ankle to the point where walking was impossible. I had to shorten my stay in Egypt and arrange an urgent flight back to London.
After spending the entire morning searching for emergency treatment, this clinic was the only one that responded with genuine care. I was admitted around 4:30 PM and received efficient, professional treatment at a reasonable cost. Dr Karim was kind, thorough, and explained my condition, rehabilitation exercises, and prescriptions clearly in English. He also made every effort to support my situation, knowing I had an early flight the next morning. I saw in him a doctor with integrity and fairness.
I also came across a recent review mentioning “two foreign girls came in with a smile and jumped the queue.” I sincerely hope that wasn’t referring to me and my friend. If it was, I genuinely apologise for any inconvenience caused to the clinic, the doctor, or the reviewer. But I want to say this, from the heart: sometimes, when bad things happen, we try to smile through them—simply trying to stay hopeful. The world still holds more kindness than cruelty, and I choose to believe in that.
