I traveled from Sweden to Egypt to have laser eye surgery and after visiting several doctors, I honestly didn’t feel comfortable with their approach or the way things were organized. By chance, I found Dr. Ashraf and it turned out to be the best decision.
From the very first consultation, I felt I was in professional hands and I decided to go ahead with the SMILE Pro procedure. The clinic was spotless, elegant and very well organized. Both Dr. Ashraf and his team were wonderful.
Dr. Ashraf scheduled a follow-up appointment the very next day after the surgery to make sure everything was healing well and thankfully everything looked perfect. By the second day I could already see clearly, 10/10.
The only minor issue I experienced was a gritty, sandy sensation in my left eye after the procedure, while my right eye felt completely normal (although I had the same perception in both eyes before the surgery). The sensation lasted for about a week and then gradually disappeared.
It’s now been two weeks since my surgery and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Ashraf to anyone considering vision correction surgery. He is professional, highly skilled and genuinely caring. My experience with him was excellent from beginning to end.

I was very nervous with having my lasik surgery in Egypt. But after research, Dr. Ashraf was already ranked one of the best lasik doctors in Egypt. I just had my Femto Optimized Lasik surgery yesterday and just followed up today. Dr. Ashraf and the staff made sure the procedure was smooth and explained the process for me before the surgery. He takes his time to communicate and clarify any concerns you may have during the office visit.
I’m still experiencing some blurriness but my vision is 6/6 and expected full recovery is in a week after surgery. There is barely any pain during or after the procedure. I definitely recommend Dr. Asharf.

Dr. Ashraf was absolutely amazing. I had my SMILE Pro surgery with him and was extremely nervous before and even after the procedure, but despite his busy schedule, he took the time to sit with me, reassure me, and answer all my questions. His kindness and genuine care made all the difference.
The surgery was a complete success, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The only minor downside was a bit of a wait for my initial cornea exam, but they more than made up for it by letting me walk in for follow-up appointments, which were excellent.
If you’re eligible for SMILE Pro, don’t hesitate—your eyesight is priceless, and it’s worth investing in the best. Highly recommended!
