My experience with AGS Relocation for my move from Ho Chi Minh City to Cairo has been nothing short of a nightmare with the inexplicable disappearance of cherished belongings and a complete failure of customer care. I feel compelled to share my story to warn anyone considering entrusting their possessions to this company.
From the very beginning, the service was severely lacking. During the critical packing phase in Vietnam, I received no proactive or empathetic guidance on the complex insurance valuation process. Despite having an AGS representative physically present, I was dismissed and told to contact the Egypt office – an impractical suggestion given the distance and time zones. This initial abandonment set the tone for the entire disastrous journey.
The most egregious issue, however, is the missing items: specifically, highly valued paintings with immense sentimental worth collected over years in Southeast Asia, and half a set of dining chairs, rendering the remaining ones useless. What is truly infuriating is AGS’s inability to provide any coherent explanation for their disappearance.
The entire process has been a source of immense stress, frustration, and disappointment. The lack of transparency, accountability, and basic customer empathy from AGS is shocking for a company of its supposed global standing. If you value your belongings, your peace of mind, and expect a professional, end-to-end relocation service, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. The “cost” of working with AGS, both emotional and practical, has been extraordinarily high.
AGS don’t know what their job is. Office will never answer your phone and will tell you later that they were busy. Terrible experience and don’t want to work with them again.

Unreliable company, will not answer your calls or emails. Hope for the best if you booked them.
