Our confirmed reservation was cancelled just weeks before check-in after we had already paid 50% of the booking months earlier. It caused unnecessary stress, additional costs, and disrupted our holiday plans. We were told the unit was no longer available, yet it remained—and still remains—listed under Prime Hospitality at a significantly higher price. That contradiction speaks for itself. A very disappointing experience
A warning to anyone considering booking with Prime Hospitality.
Back in June, our group booked a 3-bedroom chalet at Caesar Bay for one week in August and paid the full amount months in advance to the management company, Prime Hospitality.
About 2 weeks ago, out of nowhere, Prime Hospitality cancelled our reservation, claiming it was “upon the unit owner’s request,” followed by a generic apology for the inconvenience.
That cancellation completely ruined our holiday plans. Anyone who knows Egypt’s North Coast in August understands how difficult—if not impossible—it is to find comparable accommodation at such short notice.
What makes this even more disappointing is that the exact same unit is now listed again —but at a much higher price we originally booked.
To me, this raises serious concerns about how customer bookings are being treated. A confirmed and fully paid reservation should mean something. Cancelling loyal customers simply because the property can generate more revenue is unacceptable.
I’m sharing this so other travelers can be aware and make informed decisions before trusting their vacation plans to Prime Hospitality.
