As a average student in GHLS, this school is terrible, the french teachers are genuinely insane, english gets worse year by year, and arabic related things get focused on too much, leaving no room for english, i wanna go to an international just so i focus a bit more on english, the teachers are too rough, if you’re good at the subject, the teachers target you more, making it even harder if your good, and near trip days and things like that, the teachers just use it as an advantage, by threatening to take it away, and the french teacher in prim 5-E, she was once about to punch a student, it was clear on her, go to new capital or an actual good school, not a living nightmare like this, and the school song is “here we love to study, here we keep respect, here we reach the sky” me and my brother agreed every letter of that is a lie.

The worst and ugliest school the teachers do nothing but hitting and shataym and they don’t teach anything and the school is so smelly and the nani don’t clean anything plus they are so rude and here there are the worst principles ever and misses that don’t teach a thing i didnt understand a thing this year from them i come home and study by myself so I can just understand I’m gonna warn u right now DO NOT SEND U CHILDREN TO GHS I REPEAT DONT SEND UR CHILDREN TO GHS

As a former student, I strongly advise parents to think twice before enrolling their kids at GHLS.
While the school claims to focus on languages (English, French, Arabic), what actually happens is different. Arabic dominates everything. English fluency gets worse over time, especially in speaking, and French is pushed hard but often in a robotic way.
The real problem is how they handle discipline and student wellbeing. Bullying is often ignored, and even supervisors have openly admitted they’ve “given up” because students don’t respond to punishments. That’s not a healthy learning environment — it’s just chaos behind uniforms.
This school needs a serious overhaul in how it supports students, treats behavior problems, and balances languages.
🛑 Not recommended unless you’re okay with a system that pretends to care more than it actually does.

very terrible school,its extremely horrible the teachers there dont care about the students,my daughter gets bullied there and i have reported it many time but they didnt seem to care.please don’t enroll your kids in this school.Theres no toilet papers in the bathroom and they use water and soap instead of soap which is very cheap and there is no air conditioner and miss sherien is extremely mean to all students
