Renting the apartment in Hurghada through Home Vacation seemed smooth at first glance. However, once on site, it quickly became apparent that some things were not quite as they had been presented beforehand. Communication was there, but at times somewhat slow, and smaller issues took longer than expected to be resolved. The handover as well as the final inspection were unfortunately not very pleasant experiences and felt a bit uncoordinated. In addition, certain situations led to extra costs, for example when something needed to be repaired and someone had to come by. Especially over the course of a one-year rental, these details tend to weigh more heavily than initially expected.
