I reached the hotel Queen Pyramids View Inn with my reservation on booking.com. however on arrival the owner asked me to cancel the booking online and pay cash instead which seems a bit suspicious to me. Later I was made aware that I have to stay on the 4th floor of this house/building with no lift access. So if I have to come to the room I have to walk 4 floors with my 4 year old which was a very bad experience. The breakfast option was so bad just some boiled eggs and bread with cheese on the side. The breakfast sitting place was a very old scrappy plastic chair. The owner is a nice guy but the place is not at all good. I was charged ~$140 for 2 nights however I don’t think the place is worth even $40. So I would advise anyone reading this comment to stay away from this place.

It was a mini vacation for my niece and I; she lives in Egypt and I was visiting. I wanted to have somewhere to relax, but also wanted “that view” of the pyramids, and Queen Pyramids View Inn delivered that and so much more. Google’s address was great at finding the hotel, we just needed to know the building number, 15/16. Our room was on the top floor, the fifth floor, all stairs and no elevator. That’s probably the only drawback, if you’re looking for something negative, but for us it wasn’t a deal breaker. Before our arrival, Khaled (the owner of the hotel) contacted me to ensure an easy process and it was just that the day of check-in. Khaled was always available to assist us with our questions and provide suggestions when needed, and even helped us order dinner delivered to the hotel. Khaled and Osama make you feel at home and are extremely friendly. The room itself and the rooftop are exactly as pictured, though I was pleasantly surprised our balcony was bigger than what the picture showed. Now, the view. The views of the pyramids are beyond amazing, breathtaking, and larger than life. Seriously. You couldn’t be closer, except for actually being next to the pyramids. We spent lots of time on the balcony and rooftop to look at the pyramids; they are majestic. The hotel is in a great location; the pyramids are a five minute walk, with tourist shops and restaurants nearby. Truly a perfect hotel for your stay in Giza! I would recommend. Thank you very much Khaled and Osama.

I was conflicted writing this review. When the transfer taxi arrived, I couldn’t believe this was the place. The front looked like a small, dirty parking lot and alley. As a visibly foreign visitor, I was immediately harassed by people trying to get money from me. I had booked a more expensive hotel for a better experience, so this was disappointing.

Upon entering my room, it seemed nice but had issues: the air conditioning didn’t work in the Egyptian summer heat, and there were small blood stains and cigarette burns on the bed. The WiFi was unstable, disappearing occasionally, though it had good speed when it worked.

Despite this, I grew to like the place. Inside, the hotel has a nice entrance and a cozy feel with only four rooms, allowing for personal interaction with the staff. They were extremely attentive and helpful. Manager Farouk was especially great—available via WhatsApp anytime to assist with anything. I was able to switch rooms when one became available. Most staff didn’t ask for tips, which was refreshing.

The rooftop restaurant served nice food and had an amazing view of the pyramids and the sphinx, especially at dawn and sunset.

Overall, I recommend this hotel, but be prepared for the initial impression.

Every single member of staff was kind, friendly and helpful. Fantastic views of the pyramids from our room. The view was a front row seat to the pyramids. Amazing every time you woke up in the night the pyramids were right there outside the balcony. Breakfast included which was all we needed. We would highly recommend this hotel to others. You can literally walk across the road and enter the pyramids,

Great location to view the pyramids. The host is very welcoming, helpful and friendly. My flight landed at 10.30pm and he stayed up late to check us in the room. The hotel itself is beautiful inside the rooms. I recommend 100%
