We spent 4 night in May. Hotel is conveniently located, very close to Giza Pyramids and 15-m away from GEM (Grand Egyptian Museum). Car service valet available to visit Pyramids and Old Cairo Touristic sites. Reception welcome was friendly and always very service-oriented, eager to meet customers’ needs and requirements. Good balance between price & quality for a few days in Cairo.

Really enjoyed my stay at Pyramids Gate Hotel. The location is great — it’s an easy walk to the Giza Plateau, and the rooftop has an amazing view of the pyramids. It’s also very close to the Grand Egyptian Museum, which was super convenient. There are a couple of good local Egyptian places nearby for food as well.
Breakfast was included and served on the rooftop. It was simple but tasty, and eating with a pyramid view was a nice bonus.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and they were happy to help organise any tours or give advice. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with reliable hot water.
Overall, a great place to stay in Giza with a fantastic location and really welcoming service. Would definitely stay here again.

Scammer alert-
I had booked a room in this hotel but later cancelled it. Yet, the guy from the hotel got in touch with me over whatsapp to arrange for airport pickup and other activities in Giza, due to which I was under the impression that he’s someone from the hotel that I have actually booked for my stay. (Because hotels don’t arrange for pickup until they have checked in their system whether the person has a confirmed reservation in their hotel or not).
Even before I arrived in Cairo, he asked me to pay a deposit of 20% of the pickup/ activity charges online. When I arrived in Cairo, there was nobody to pick us up. After contacting the guy, we still had to wait for the driver for around 30 mins. The driver then drove us to this hotel. When we told him this is not the hotel where we are supposed to be dropped off, he called the receptionist who tried convincing us that we book a room in their hotel and cancel our existing booking at the other hotel (which was definitely not possible for us).
He then also asked us to pay the remaining amount of the activities, and that he would send someone to pick us up from our hotel for these activities. He also asked us to pay extra so that the driver could drop us to our hotel. It was quite intimidating by this time because I was with my partner and our luggage was still in the car, and it didn’t seem like we could just leave without paying the remaining amount. So we had to pay.
When we got back to the car, the driver made his friend also sit inside the car with us. Instead of directly dropping us to the hotel, he first started insisting on taking us to some papyrus workshop as a ‘welcome gift’ on the way. We kept refusing but he was persistent. At last he gave up but then asked us to give him a tip. He then took a detour to drink coffee with his friend which took another 15 mins. It was a horrifying experience.

Everything was clean, well-maintained, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
Hossam, the manager of the hotel, was extremely polite, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed.
The breakfast was honest and satisfying, and the view from the rooftop overlooking the Pyramids magical.
Through Hossam, we arranged two full-day tours, and it was the best decision we made. The first day was at the Pyramids and the new Museum, and the second day was a full trip to beautiful Alexandria, with the amazing guide Doaa, who brought the history and spirit of the place to life in the most inspiring way.

We had a very good experience at this hotel. The staff were kind, polite, and always helpful. The view from the property is amazing, and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of delicious options.
Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!
