Great experience. Safe for solo travelers. Lowkey have allergies to dust and could barely sleep unless under the fan. But, all around it’s good. Literally a 5 minute walk from the Pyramid and they have police all around. 😂i was so concerned about being solo. so, whoever this helps that’s great! Also, 24/7 front desk and it’s on kaab ibn malek not the address that it might pull up on your map. Tell your driver it’s between the gates before you go to the pyramid next to ELROOF Cafe. #GotLostMyFirstTime!

A true Egyptian expérience. Mohamnad, the guide taught us a lot about the past, their present and his dreams of his future. The hôtel serves a copious breakfast which is included in the price. The staff are warm and welcoming. The hôtel can provide safe and comfortable taxi services for a reasonable price. The view is what dreams are made of.

We stayed here few days, with excellent view to the pyramids. Room was nice and clean. We are 5 mins walk from the entrance if the pyramids, and enjoy the horses an camels rodeo under our window, as they parked there during the day. The staff was very kind helpful and flexible. They offered several programs with tgeir agency, but we already booked our programs in advance, so we can’t share that experience.

Staff were incredible. No complaints at all. Very friendly. The rooms are incredibly cosy. The hotel is very close to nearby coffee shops and the streets of Giza which are filled with people. Be prepared for people to offer you quality, fresh products from nearby to this location. Huge thank you to everybody in Egypt who made this trip special and unforgettable.

Systematic overbooking, downgrade, and total lack of management responsibility
This review follows an already unacceptable experience with another hotel the day before, and unfortunately the second day was even worse.
We arrived at 12:00 PM, left our luggage, and were clearly told not to worry because our check-in was confirmed (as we were told the day before when we texted them since we just had a bad experience). We then left to visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, based on that assurance.
When we returned at 4:30 PM, we were informed that there was an overbooking with a guest that did not check out and that we would be redirected to another hotel. We were told it was “the same level,” which was simply not true.
We went to see the alternative hotel ourselves and found that it was:
• Clearly inferior to what we booked
• A downgrade in quality, comfort, and location
• Without the pyramid view we had specifically paid for
We immediately asked for a fair and honest solution at the same level as our original booking. None was offered.
To make matters worse:
• we couldn’t talk to the manager, claiming he does not speak English
• Responsibility was delegated to staff who had no authority and offered no real solutions
• No compensation, no proper relocation, no accountability
In the end, we were forced to book another hotel ourselves, at a much higher price, far from the city center, without the pyramid view, and not comparable to what we originally reserved in October.
On top of this, we had to pay for:
• Additional taxis to reach the new hotel
• Extra transportation to make it in time for our New Year’s Eve dinner
This is not an isolated incident — it is a pattern of overbooking, poor planning, and complete disregard for guests. What is most unacceptable is the absence of management, the refusal to take responsibility, and the lack of honest, professional solutions.
I strongly warn future guests: do not rely on this hotel’s confirmations. If you are traveling during a busy period, for a special occasion, or expecting a specific standard, you are taking a serious risk.
Management should be ashamed of how this situation was handled.
