Buyer beware. Saying money over safety is not worth it. Google maps will take you in front of a hotel that is not this one. You have to walk around behind. Dangerous to walk about at night. Haggle will befriend then exploit. Stayed one of two booked nights. Photos are deceptive. Had a balcony but patio door did not lock securely.

I was totally fooled by this hotel’s ratings—it turned out to be such a dump! First off, its location on the map is totally inaccurate. Those terrace photos on the homepage? Total fraud—they’re definitely from some other hotel. To make things worse, the bed in my room has zero support at all, the quilt is filthy, and there’s even beard stubble left in the bathroom. On top of that, the water heater doesn’t even work—no hot water whatsoever!
And don’t get me started on the breakfast. It’s served on the terrace of another hotel entirely, nothing like the pictures they showed. Their excuse? They ran out of gas! None of these issues should’ve happened in the first place, and their lousy excuse is just a slap in the face. What a cop-out!
I paid 800 Egyptian pounds for this garbage? I could’ve had way better options near the East Gate Ticket Office of the Giza Pyramids for the same price. Do NOT book this place under any circumstances!

We had an amazing stay at the Moses Pyramids Inn. The room was simple, but had everything we needed with a large bathroom.
The view from the rooftop where you are served breakfast is incredible. I can’t imagine a better view of the pyramids and such a beautiful rooftop area. The best part of our stay was our host, Achmed. He went above and beyond and was so kind and hospitable. He was always available to answer our questions and to give us advice. My suitcase didn’t make it to Cairo from Toronto and with Achmed’s help and many phone calls to the Cairo airport, he found a way to get my bag to our hotel. He is an amazing host and very caring. He also helped us book a reasonable and great driver for an afternoon of sightseeing. I would recommend everyone stay at this hotel.

Terrible experience!!!
We booked Moses Pyramids Inn through Agoda and had a very bad experience.
The hotel was extremely dirty, far below any acceptable standard. The room and bathroom were poorly maintained and cleanliness was unacceptable.
The location felt unsafe, especially at night, and did not feel suitable for tourists.
Most importantly, the photos are completely misleading and do not reflect the real condition of the property at all. What we found on arrival was nothing like what was advertised.
Because of these conditions, we left immediately and did not stay at the hotel at all. Unfortunately, Agoda refused to refund our money, despite the fact that the property was not as described.
Overall, this place felt misrepresented and we strongly do not recommend it. Please be very careful before booking.

I give 3 from 5 to the hotel and Ann a star for the staff
Our breakfast was poor, I was disappointed
The room was not completed – no a teaspoon, no a saucer
On Agoda it says – free water, tea, coffee – nothing. The cleaning lady offered me a shop
The mattress was just disaster. I hurt my back
The fridge was noisy, couldn’t sleep 💤
The location is great. But, you should go to Zeina pyramids view, the neighbour
İt’s only 7 mins on foot from the Pyramids
The yard is calm, finally free Cairo!
The view from the top is great
The staff are nice, friendly and helpful. You can ask to guide them around
