Superb location, clean rooms, friendly staff (kudos to Abdo). Well worth the money.. I would however appreciate some variation in the breakfast (served in the room) which was great btw. but was repeated every day (5 days).

I really loved my stay with this hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating! On my arrival day, they allowed me to leave the bags as early as 8am and on my departure day they kept my bags till 10pm. The staff is very kind and always try to help. Especially Ali was very helpful with all my request. The hotel is centrally located in a historic building and close to everything

My stay itself was fine, but I was very frustrated and disappointed by how I was taken advantage of regarding the change in U.S. dollars.

I paid for my stay in U.S. dollar cash, but I was told that they did not have enough change and was promised that I would receive the remaining amount in U.S. dollars the next day. However, when the next day came, I was told again that they did not have any dollars available and that the change would be given in Egyptian pounds instead.

Since it was my last day in Egypt, I insisted on receiving the change in U.S. dollars, but the staff repeatedly refused, saying they had no dollars. They told me I could exchange Egyptian pounds for U.S. dollars at the airport, and because I was short on time, I reluctantly accepted the Egyptian pounds.

However, as is widely known, U.S. dollars are in high demand, and none of the banks at the airport were willing to exchange the Egyptian pounds back into dollars. As a result, I ended up returning home with Egyptian pounds that I cannot use at all.

This left a very unpleasant impression at the end of my trip to Egypt. I am extremely disappointed.

The hotel is very central and close to everything. Rooms are clean and the service is kind but there are some critical points:

    – A sewage smell came from the toilet.
    – Water pressure of the shower is low.
    – The quality of the breakfast (served in the room) could be improved. But especially the drinks came too late, up to 30-40 minutes after the food.
    – Beds were hard but especially the blankets were too heavy, not suited to the hot Egyptian weather. Lighter bedding is more appropriate.

Lovely and clean hotel in the centre of downtown.
    Lovely owners and staff.
Compact, but clean and lovely rooms.
    Would definitely stay again!
