I stayed at the hotel for three days. It’s a great place for price/value.
Location #1. Just a few steps from the Nile River. With a wonderful restaurant on the bank. Good quiet place to have breakfast (if you prefer it to the (decent) hotel breakfast) or lunch. Walking distance to the Cairo National Opera, and a must visit if there are any performances. There I saw the Chinese Ballet and it was really an amazing experience to see Chinese ballet in Cairo. A true globalization.
Just one metro stop from Tahrir Square (we’ve all seen it on TV). And there is the National Museum. A huge labyrinth of ancient artifacts that we have never seen or could imagine, such as 3,000-year-old flutes. Mummies and beautiful stone faces of Egyptian princesses. And my favorites: the portraits of the Fayum mummies.
#2 It’s comfortable. I had my own reservations thinking that facing the busy El-Tahrir Street might be noisy. By no means. The hotel rooms start on the sixth floor, so it is quiet. The next day, the management offered me an even better room facing the backyard for the same price, and it had Western TV and everything.
#3 Management. They are extremely friendly, respond to all your requests and speak good English. It’s like home, somewhere in NJ.
It’s not 5***** but it’s great value for travellers on a budget.

We urgently needed a room on 1st January as one of us was unwell. They gave us an early check-in and breakfast. The hospitality was unmatched and total value for money.
Life in London
Location is amazing next to the river not that far from pyramids.
Rooms are very good size yes it’s not Hilton but you get what you pay. Very quiet hotel.
Breakfast is much more than you can eat. Try the home made fries not the frozen you are used to in UK delicious. Bread so good. Cheese salads and fruits delicious. Ask Mr Sami for Turkish coffee. Mr Sami made us feel great each time we had breakfast. Food was so much he was bringing us fruits in the room. Very very kind person.
All the staff were very kind they will assist you with everything from booking a taxi or a rivers cruise with dinner.

It’s acceptable for budget stays, but I would not like to go back. I visited with my wife in 2010, before all the unhappy events of violent revolution, and got amazed at the fact thay even faked the picture of the building in which the hotel is placed.
They did it using photoshop (sic!)
Location is very good.

Very nice hotel. Parking lot is very good. Staff are extremely friendly. Rooms are spacious. The restaurants are excellent. The prices are not high. Internet is available for free and it is of high speed. Cleanliness is everywhere. Highly recommended
