Booked this hotel for 2 nights after our 5 star tour finished. Right on Tahrir square,convenient, a bit noisy, but that’s downtown Cairo! We booked a juniors suite,which was clean and comfortable .Breakfasts were great, and even offer a breakfast box for early starters.Staff always friendly and helpful. Evening meals were nice ,and affordable. Minor draw back not having alchohol, but there are 2 international hotels well within walking distance if your thirsty. Would stay again , no worries. Glenn

If you like car horns at midnight and cigaret smoke for breakfast, this is your hotel to go.
The central location looks superb on the map, but the rooms are not soundproof at all and the road noise is extremely loud. I could not find a minute of sleep although I even had earplugs.
Public areas are all smoking.

If you are visiting Cairo for the first time and want to stay at a place that is near famous landmarks, look no further. The hotel is situated in downtown Cairo, close to Al Tahrir Square and the old museum. Money exchanger is also at walkable distance. You can see the River Nile from your room window, which looks amazing at night. The Pyramids of Giza are also not very far. It took us around 20–30 minutes and cost about LE 170 via Uber.
Language can be an issue in Egypt, and you may occasionally get scammed by drivers. To avoid this, we preferred to use the hotel’s transportation services. We were provided with affordable transportation for the airport, local tours, and Alexandria. We also had an early checkout, and they were kind enough to allow us extended hours without any extra charge.
We stayed in Egypt for 10 days and used this hotel as our base while traveling to other cities, so in total we checked in three times. Everything from the front desk staff to the breakfast and dine-in team, room service and the managers was excellent. Special thanks to Mena, who sorted out transportation and late checkout arrangements for us.
We are back to Pakistan. We have nothing but good memories with this hotel

I will start by mentioning the good points of this hotel. The location is next to the shops and museum. The staff is so helpful and friendly. We were given a free upgrade and the room was clean and spacious. The bad points are many. The outside honks and noise are very heard inside the room, eventhough I am on the 8th floor. The bathroom smelled bad. The matress and pillow are not comfortable at all. Noise from maintenance through the day starting 7 am or maybe earlier. The fridge was noisy but cold
I hope after the mantenance the hotel will be better. For now I regret staying in it

I stayed at the Cleopatra Hotel in Cairo in the Presidential Suite, and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I was escorted to my suite right away.
The Presidential Suite was spacious, elegant, and beautifully decorated with a perfect balance of modern luxury and classic Egyptian style. The panoramic view of the city from the balcony was absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. The room featured a large living area, a comfortable king-sized bed, and a marble bathroom equipped with a jacuzzi and high-end amenities. Every detail, from the fresh flowers to the neatly arranged fruit basket, reflected great attention to hospitality.
The hotel’s location is another huge plus — it’s close to the Nile and many key attractions, making sightseeing convenient. The in-house restaurant offered a wide variety of delicious dishes, both local and international, and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. Room service was prompt, and the staff were always polite and eager to assist with any request.
The only minor drawback was that Wi-Fi could be a bit slow at times, but it wasn’t enough to affect my overall experience.
Overall, my stay at the Cleopatra Hotel was luxurious, relaxing, and memorable. I would highly recommend the Presidential Suite to anyone seeking comfort, excellent service, and a touch of royal treatment in the heart of Cairo.
