This hotel does not deserve a 5-star rating. Having traveled to nearly 50 countries, I can confidently say this is one of the dirtiest hotels I have ever stayed in.

The rooms are dusty, outdated, and poorly maintained. The furniture and carpets look extremely old, as if they have not been replaced in decades. I specifically requested a room with a bathtub, but I was unable to use it because there was no stopper. The refrigerator was also dirty inside, making it unusable.

I do appreciate that the staff moved me to another room after I raised my concerns. However, the replacement room was still not clean and did not meet the standards I would expect from a 5-star hotel.

While the hotel is centrally located in downtown Cairo, walking to nearby attractions such as the Cairo Tower and the Egyptian Museum can be challenging. The streets outside are extremely busy, congested with traffic, and quite dusty, making it an unpleasant experience to explore on foot.

On a positive note, the hotel’s restaurants serve delicious food, which meant I did not need to go elsewhere for meals.

Overall, the location and dining options were good, but the cleanliness and condition of the rooms fell far below what I would expect from a hotel of this category.

Cairo is a busy city. You need a place to unwind and relax and this hotel fits the bill. Located off of a busy street, there are 24 floors of rooms. We ended up in two different rooms, a bookend to our trip. Room with twin beds was large with a couch and two easy chairs. Nice bathroom. The second was a queen room, slightly smaller, but still large enough to move around. The breakfast each morning was fantastic, serving made to order omelettes, fruits, pastries, breads, sausage, chicken links, yogurt, and a bunch more. There are also a couple of restaurants onsite, along with an outdoor pool and fitness center. And, security was always present. We felt very safe there.

I loved our stay here ! I have no complaints at all. They have like 5 restaurants on site, rooftop pool, casino and close to a bunch of things. I loved that they had a money conversion place onsite as well along with Baskin Robin and Starbucks! They have everything you will need. I highly recommend this place.

I had a wonderful stay for my first time in Cairo. They have a bank downstairs and can exchange currency. Beautiful room and view, excellently staff, affordable laundry services, delicious food options and a ton of security. Lots of stores nearby. I felt like royalty.

My stay at the Ramses Hilton was a memorable experience that perfectly blends convenience, comfort, and classic Cairo charm. Ideally located along the Nile, the hotel offers easy access to major attractions such as Tahrir Square and the Egyptian Museum, making it an excellent base for exploring the city.

From the moment I arrived, the service stood out. The staff were welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction made the stay feel smooth and enjoyable throughout.

The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, many featuring private balconies with breathtaking views of the Nile or the vibrant city skyline. While the decor leans more toward a classic style rather than ultra-modern, the comfort, cleanliness, and overall ambiance more than make up for it.

One of the highlights of the hotel is its wide range of amenities. Guests can enjoy a heated outdoor pool, fitness center, multiple dining options, and even an on-site casino, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere. Dining experiences are diverse and satisfying, offering both local and international cuisine.

The central location is a major advantage, though it can sometimes mean exposure to the busy energy of Cairo’s streets. However, this also adds to the authentic city experience.

Overall, Ramses Hilton offers great value, excellent service, and stunning Nile views. It is an ideal choice for travelers seeking a comfortable and centrally located stay in Cairo with a touch of classic elegance.
