They accused me of stealing a towel, then found it hanging in the bathroom, and demanded compensation for the cost of a new duvet because the child vomited on the bed. I left for a five-star hotel.

At first sight a pleasant lobby if you like mock tudor style. Spacious rooms with all amenities. But incompetent, illiterate in English staff from reception to room service to housing. Woke me up at 8.30 despite strict orders to leave me alone. Breakfast ordered was delivered wrong and yet had to pay a supplement price! Infernal noise coming from pipes in the bathroom. Soundsystem running in full blast at 9 a.m. Really??? Masri way is not my way. I knew why I had avoided Egypt so far and chose 51 other countries to visit.
