If you want to be scammed, this is your place.
Booked and payed through booking.com, and when we arrived they made us cancel to booking and pay with cash. As it was the check-in day, there was no cancellation fees, but also no refund for what it was already paid. I had to contact customer service for a refund.
There is a bed in the entrance of the building where random people sleep.

excellent location, cozy apartment
we stayed in the 3 bedroom + living room family suite. the building itself and the elevator looks a bit filthy and old, but our apartment was modern and clean with comfy beds.
yes, the traffic noises are loud all the time, but we were so tired, it didn’t bother us at all and slept through the night.

Disappointing.
The place is filthy and dilapidated.
The shower hose is falling apart, and the water pressure pitiful.
Many of the windows cannot close fully so…

The Worst Place I Have Ever Stayed
If you’re looking to ruin your trip to Cairo, this is the perfect place to book. This was, by far, the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had.
To start, the building is located in an alley surrounded by abandoned-looking structures, and somehow, this one is in even worse condition. The elevator is filthy, and just behind the building, there’s a garbage dump with stagnant water swarming with mosquitoes.
The apartment itself is a nightmare. It has only a few windows, all of which face the garbage dump, so they are kept shut at all times, leaving the place with zero ventilation or natural light. To make matters worse, the windows don’t even close properly, allowing mosquitoes to get in constantly.
The entire place is covered with dirty rugs, which left my entire family and me sick after our four-day stay. My bed had two blood stains on the sheets, and the walls were covered with dead mosquitoes smeared with blood. To get any sleep, we had to close all the bedroom doors and kill at least ten mosquitoes per room every single night.
In short, this place is an absolute health hazard. If you value your well-being and your trip, avoid this place at all costs.

Had a lovely stay for 3 nights and the host made us very comfortable. The space is reasonably sized and well furnished.
WiFi is available and the TV is Netflix enabled. The AC’s and water heater work perfectly.
The kitchen is also fitted with basic appliances.
It’s located at the 6th floor and doesn’t look too great from the outside but once you step into the space, it’s worth the journey.
Our host (Yaser) arranged for airport pickup and a tour guide to show us around. He is always willing to help no matter what time you call and goes the extra mile to make sure you’re okay.
The location is central and ideal. I’d definitely recommend for anyone who wants value for money.
