Cairo Festival City Mall is one of the biggest and most complete shopping destinations in Egypt. It has an incredible variety of international and local brands, countless dining options, and plenty of entertainment for all ages. Whether you’re shopping, meeting friends, watching a movie, or just enjoying a day out, there’s always something to do. The mall is spacious, modern, well-organized, and easily a place where you can spend an entire day without getting bored.

I had a great visit today at Cairo Festival City and IKEA. The place was clean, organized, and the overall experience was very enjoyable. The staff were helpful and the atmosphere was nice. I really liked the variety of products at IKEA and the quality of the service. Definitely a good place to visit.

This new Shopping Mall is located in NEW CAIRO.
We have visited it March, 25th in 2026.
Approaching it was a little bit difficult or demanding due to heavy rainfalls during the last days.
Very often we needed to pass flooded streets.
Several time the water was 20-30 cm high. This is surprising because in NEW CAIRO the streets were newly build.
We were happy that there was no water in the Parking. While arriving at 7:30 p.m. there was plenty of free space.
I took a picture to remember where we have parked the Car.
I will return to this important thing later.
Then we went up to the Floors.
Most of the Shopping Mall was quite empty. Comparing to the number of Shops and Space there were only a few customers.
We have seen some worldwide known International Brands.
I was surprised that it was not looking exclusive comparing to the Mall of Egypt.
Even on the ground of Floors we have seen different Materials which was looking quite cheap.
More important is that we only have seen a small number of Tourists among the Visitors and Customers.
What I also have missed was a demanding atmosphere that you have the wish to return quickly.
Prices are quite high. The Standard of Quality is mostly average.
The Food Court is big but not attractive at all.
Responsible is the Design, the Construction and the Materials.
After one hour we have left the Shopping Mall and got strong problems to find our Car. The reason is that not every Exit will bring you to your Parking or Car.
That will lead to many problems for Customers as well.
I am sure that this problem can be solved with better Directions and Guiding.
To sum up: Everybody should visit it and to make its own decision.
But I am afraid that the Shops will not run very well…

The outside is nicer than the inside. For a better experience and atmosphere, take a walk around or dine at one of the fountain-side restaurants.

This place has a very close place to my heart I met my husband first time in, it has too many good things to do from magic planet to places you can eat in and food court if you don’t like restaurants and they have mostly all the international and local brands and they have a praying rooms which is very good and they have cinema also ❤️
