The atmosphere was simply amazing. The food was delicious – the service was outstanding. We had a glorious experience at this restaurant. We didn’t know we could get a baklava dessert with ice cream and cotton candy – it was amazing!! 🙂

Had an amazing dinner and the staff were amazing. It was my wife’s birthday and they sang for her and brought a great piece of chocolate cake.

The food was good and well prepared, but not outstanding or fine dining level. Prices for food are reasonable and in line with expectations for a Sofitel hotel restaurant. Service was friendly, attentive, and professional. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting, and you feel at ease throughout the evening.
The main downside is the wine pricing. Imported wines are extremely overpriced. As an example, a solid but non prestige Rhône wine (Olivier Hillaire), retailing around 50 EUR in Europe, was listed at approximately 80,000 EGP, a markup of roughly factor 30. This is difficult to justify.
We therefore chose a local white wine instead, priced around 1,600 EGP, which was actually quite enjoyable and much more fairly priced.

Tasty food with attentative waiters. In the evening they had Egyptian singers and a belly dancer. The restaurant is indoors near the Sofitel pool.

Had dinner here while staying at the Sofitel my first night in Cairo. The atmosphere is great and overlooks the Nile. We ordered a few appetizers including a salad and the grilled halloumi, which were both tasty. For entrees we shared some lamb and the chicken fattah. The meat was tender and the sauces were delicious! There was also live music. Overall really enjoyed the meal.
