Do not be fooled by the positive reviews of this place. After spending a month here, I honestly question how many of them reflect the real experience.
The hygiene and maintenance are unacceptable. There is a constant bad smell throughout the facility, the locker room is always a mess, the lockers are damaged and poorly maintained, and the mirrors are consistently dirty. Even basic issues that would cost almost nothing to fix are ignored. For example, there is a damaged wooden panel under the sink that has been left in poor condition for a long time.
The boxing ring itself is not properly maintained, as the floor cover is loose and not fixed correctly. There was also a treadmill that was removed and never replaced, which is another example of the lack of investment in the facility.
The coaching is just as disappointing. There is no clear training program, no structured weekly plan, and sessions often seem completely improvised. Some training sessions are so poorly organized that they feel like a waste of time. Every Friday, a player with a young age—not a qualified coach—runs the training session and appears to have more authority than some of the actual coaching staff.
What makes this even more frustrating is that the membership fee is comparable to that of a professional gym. However, professional gyms are usually clean, well-maintained, and constantly investing in their facilities. This place charges similar prices while failing to meet even basic standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and coaching quality.
Overall, this was one of the most disappointing sports memberships I have ever paid for. The management seems far more interested in collecting membership fees than maintaining the facility or providing a professional training environment. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this place.

A great experience at Rio. Coaching is top-notch, and the staff are helpful. Special thanks to Captain Mohamed Ismail for his guidance and dedication—highly recommended

Fantastic Boxing and Kickboxing club! captain Mohamed Ismail, Mohamed Yasser and Adel are all excellent and very skilled. They are amazing coaches and they literally teach you all you need to know about Boxing/Kickboxing.
I have had a great experience training with them and I honestly look forward to every single training session.
Very grateful, Thanks a million.

Great coaches & a Great place for training
But I would say the schedule isn’t the best as it has only night appointments for the olders
But i do recommend it as the coaches are experienced and pay attention to everyone just like you’re getting a private training.
