ZOEYA Beauty Lounge (New Cairo)

Me and my sister came to this salon because we heard it was supposed to be a good salon, but honestly it turned out to be one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. I did my hair, nails, and pedicure there. The guy who washed my hair was very nice, and the one who blow-dried/styled it was decent, but he overheated my hair even though my hair didn’t need that much heat. Other than that, the hair service was okay.

But when it came to the nails, it was absolutely the worst salon experience I’ve ever had in my life. I have never seen such unprofessional work before. The nail technician was extremely rough while filing my nails, to the point where it felt like she was almost tearing them off. When she started cutting the cuticles, she overcut them badly. My fingers were bleeding for 3 days straight and still sore and hurt until now. The same thing happened to my sister’s nails too. Honestly, I don’t even know if they are professional enough to be working as nail technicians. It felt like they were rushing through everything just to finish quickly and bring in more customers, not actually caring about doing the work properly or with any care and professionalism. The whole service felt careless and done without any attention to quality or customer comfort.

I would never recommend doing your nails here. Such a disappointing and painful experience.

I visited this salon at the beginning of January based on prior communication with customer service. I live in Norway, so I had many questions before the visit to find out what would suit me. The customer service was excellent, the communication was fast, and the answers were comprehensive.

When I arrived at the salon, the hairstylist George first examined my hair to make sure it was healthy and to assess the expected color results, which I really appreciated. George was professional; he listened carefully to what I wanted, suggested what he thought would look even better, and convinced me — and he was absolutely right.

The result was amazing. He told me that my hair would continue to shine and that the color would become more and more beautiful over time — and that is exactly what happened.

I should also mention that I came in after a nose job, but they handled the situation with great care and made me feel very safe.

Finally, girls, I think George has “green fingers,” as we say — because my hair became healthier and even grew longer after he cut it! ☺️

Maryan did my hair with such elegance and showed complete dedication while dying my hair, it was a struggle for my hair to catch any color and although most of the staff thought there was no hope in making my hair lighter, she proved them all wrong and stayed till the very end to give me the best result that would please me. She’s also very polite and the environment in the atmosphere around the workers and the clients was fascinating. I will definitely be coming back and I completely recommend.
