Gaya is a lovely place with a great atmosphere and very friendly, welcoming staff. I especially enjoyed the bulgogi pork and the kimbab—both were delicious and full of flavor. The restaurant has a nice vibe, and I always enjoy coming here. The only thing I think could be improved is the ventilation. Other than that, it’s a great spot for Korean food, and I’d definitely recommend it!

I’ve tried many Asian restaurants, but I always find myself coming back to Gaya. It’s honestly one of the best Asian restaurants I’ve ever tried.
My favorites are the tteokbokki, bulgogi (both shrimp and chicken), curry chicken, kimbap, rice and their noodles. The noodles are amazing whether you choose vegetables, shrimp, or any other option.
I also love that some dishes can be cooked on a grill right at your table, which makes the whole experience even more fun and authentic.
The staff are always very friendly, and the food is consistently delicious. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Asian food!

During my trip, I visited this restaurant twice. The food was tasty and the portions were generous, although I found most dishes to be quite salty.
What really disappointed me was the waiting time. On my second visit, there were very few customers in the restaurant, yet we waited more than 45–50 minutes for our food. As a traveler, time is valuable, and spending nearly two hours just for a meal is difficult to understand.
It also felt as though the owner was not paying much attention because there were already many Korean customers, while the foreign staff were left to handle everything on their own.
I enjoyed the food, but the service and excessive waiting time made the overall experience frustrating. I hope this issue can be improved for future customers.
Good food alone cannot make up for such poor time management and service.

Couldn’t wait to take any photos because the food was just that good. The steamed beef dumplings were well stuffed and tasted so good with the accompanied soy sauce. The kimchi pancake was such a surprise to me as to how good it was, tho I do wish it came with some sweet chili sauce. The spicy seafood soup was absolutely incredible. So spicy and so well seasoned. For the entree, I had bulgogi chicken and a side of steamed rice, and they are just such a great pair. The bulgogi sauce has a lovely umami flavor and a hint of sweetness from the caramelized onions. The table salads were quite delicious as well. Honestly, Gaya is setting some high standards, and I 100% recommend.

We’ve been loyal customers of Gaya for over 10 years and have many fond memories here. About a year ago, we noticed a decline in food quality & service —as did many others in the reviews from that time—so we took a break. But recently, we decided to give it another shot, and we’re really glad we did.
The food is back to its old standards: fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. We started with the miso soup, deep-fried vegetables, and the bulgogi chicken. The kimchi and other pickled appetizers are delicious as always. The beer is cold.
The service was friendly and attentive, and it really felt like the Gaya we knew and loved. We’re happy to see it back on track and will definitely be returning more often.
