A Nile‑Side Institution Serving Fresh Seafood With Egyptian Flair
Fish Market is a long‑standing favorite for seafood lovers in Cairo. Located along the Nile, the restaurant offers bright, open views and a lively atmosphere. The experience begins with selecting your fish from the display — sea bass, shrimp, calamari, mullet — which are then prepared to your preference: grilled, fried, baked, or cooked in Egyptian‑style casseroles.
The flavors are clean and coastal, with Egyptian touches like tahini, rice with seafood, and Alexandria‑style seasoning. The restaurant is casual yet polished, making it suitable for families, groups, and relaxed weekend meals.
Fish Market captures the essence of Mediterranean dining — fresh ingredients, simple preparation, and a setting shaped by water and light.

Fantastic seafood restaurant, service very perfect and rare, very clean place and have amazing interior, style and super perfect music playlist.
Very tasty and delicious soup, salads, muscles, shrimps and pasta, all super yummy.

Don’t expect the price will be low. But given the nice environment and good service, I think the restaurant is worth to have a try. The seafood is fresh and we specially like the shrimp soap. Delicious!!!

Everything is great for this seafood restaurant. Friendly staff provided good service, delicious food with reasonable price. Most patrons are local people. Clean dining environment. Lovely interior design ambiance as well. Recommended.

What a place to eat. Amazing. You have to try, as the food is on point here.
Try and order different sides on top, as mains come alone or with rice.
The Sea Bream 9/10. Brilliant oiled and in oven, brown rice.
Shrimp platter 10/10. Nothing else to say, fresh shrimps in this country is my go to food to eat. Tastes brilliant, can’t stop eating it.
Decor 10/10. Very clean, stain glass windows. Restaurant layout is great, the chairs are my favourite, cushioned leather high back rest. Looks premium too.
