The Mexican (Spicy)
As evident from the color palette and the name, this place seems to be a local take on the popular fried chicken chain Texas/Church’s Chicken. Even the sandwich I’d ordered is a local imitation of the Mexicana sandwich served by the western counterpart, which is just a remark and not a criticism.
The sandwich, while still a very decent chicken sandwich, doesn’t stand up to the original. It has a broader bun, in all fairness, but it seems that the bun has less structure and collapses in on itself.
The chicken in the sandwich is generous and has real chicken meat inside it. They use darker meat here as opposed to the Texas white meat, which, while more flavourful, has less of that signature freshness and satiating effect the original provides. Finally, the breading is quite crispy on the outside, but turns saggy as it peels in your mouth (not a particularly huge issue)
As for the toppings, I actually like the direction they went with adding a sharp hot sauce for some tang. I wish they’d used a better tortilla chip, as this one had barely any crunch. And I wish the lettuce were more composed for some crisp freshness.
Overall, a decent sandwich by local standards, and one I might go back to if I get the itch.

I went to Mall of Egypt branch.
I made my order asked the cashier about the strips meal,i asked how many pieces are there for one person meal & the reply was “it’s ur call” i odered 4 & when I got the check it was showing the meal is 3 pieces & he charged for the additional piece!!
When I got the order it was only 3 pieces in the box & I had 2 go back 2 ask for the missing piece!!! They did some search for the thrown away receipt & when they couldn’t find it they just added that piece!
I ordered extra bread & it was not fresh at all & flaky as u can see in the picture.
The coleslaw was running because the mayonnaise used was like water!!!
The chicken didn’t taste good at all & it was lukewarm.
Such a waste of money. Not recommended at all

That was a very nice experience! So recommended 😋 the fries was delicious, so do the sandwich.
I think this place is gonna be my fav.
The worst thing is that I waited more than 45 minutes to have my order!
