It was delicious. The owner’s knife skills were excellent, and the seasonings weren’t mindlessly piled on with excessive salt and strong flavors (like many overseas Chinese restaurants); they were quite restrained and well-balanced. The owner definitely has solid skills and puts his heart into making the dishes.

This is a hidden gem of a Chinese restaurant in Matrouh; I eat here for every meal in Matrouh. The owner is from Guangdong, very experienced, and caters to the tastes of people from all over the country, making the food taste like home. Wishing the owner great success in their business! ☺️

After cycling over 16,000 kilometers in a foreign land, the most comforting meal was this steaming bowl of home-style dishes at Fanghua Chinese Restaurant. The savory red oil of the boiled pork slices, the refreshing tomato and egg soup, and the wok hei (wok aroma) of the stir-fried green peppers and eggs—every bite brought back familiar flavors from across the world. The owner’s warmth and the generous portions reminded me of the comforting feeling of eating at home. After being away from home for so long, both my stomach and heart were completely soothed by this Chinese meal. It deserves a perfect score!
