The concert that we attended was great, however there are many areas for improvement. The waiting areas were of poor quality and the seats were old. The people working at the venue were not very friendly at times. The venue did not make sure that all attendees were in full formal attire which made the experience less formal and unique. We paid the highest ticket price for the front two rows seats on the sides and unfortunately the view was really poor and blocked by the curtains and speakers which should have been considered by the organisers given the more expensive ticket prices.

Watching Omar Khairat live at the Cairo Opera House is pure magic. Under that gorgeous lotus ceiling, hearing the grand piano is a euphoric, unforgettable experience.

Cairo Opera House is a must for anyone visiting the city. The architecture is stunning, and the grounds are beautifully maintained, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle of Cairo. The Main Hall provides incredible acoustics and a very sophisticated atmosphere that makes every performance feel special.

Attending an Omar Khairat concert here is a pinnacle cultural experience. His music is legendary, and hearing his blend of oriental and orchestral melodies in this specific venue is truly moving. The staff is professional, the seating is comfortable, and the entire evening always feels like a celebration of art.

Pro-tip: Be sure to follow the dress code (formal) and arrive early to enjoy the fountain and the sculpture garden before the show starts!

Parking: There is on-site parking available for a fee of 50 EGP. It’s quite convenient, though arriving early is recommended to secure a spot before the crowd gathers.

Couldn’t book by online but I found ticket to attend the show. The back seats where comfortable and the Chairs tier was prefercte. The only issue some people could not seats properly and where talking, went out and come back again and also take permission to change their seats. Fair enough they where noisy

The opera house is decorated with lots of interesting art and there is a small museum. Currently there are some renovations going on and the ticket office isn’t well sign posted. Tickets are between 100 – 350 egp. Less for students I think. Usually there is good availability. The dress code is strict for men, must wear a tie but for women less so, jeans are acceptable but most people dress up
