Visiting this place is fun if you like hunting for treasure.

First of all, you have to find a way inside since the building door can be locked and their phone number listed on Google maps is out of service. There is not an English name listed on the building intercom system so if a neighbor didn’t happen to be entering the building we wouldn’t have made it into the store.

If you are lucky enough to make it inside you have to carefully look over every room because stuff is tucked under, behind, and might even be hanging from the ceiling. I enjoy this type of hunt. If you don’t, just ask the attendant and she will help you find what you are looking for.

I enjoy that everything is handmade and local but the prices definitely reflect that.

Beautiful collection handicrafts from all corners of Egypt! pottery, glass, fabrics … you get lost among all marvels.
You can find the shop from its very cute blue wooden window/balcony. Then ring the bell on the door of the residential building in order to enter.
