City Hospital

I had a very disappointing experience at City Hospital in Alexandria. The biggest issue was the complete lack of proper communication. From the moment I arrived, no one explained procedures clearly, timelines were unclear, and staff seemed uninterested in answering basic questions.
Customer service was extremely poor. Most of the staff appeared unprofessional and indifferent, treating patients like numbers rather than people. It felt like the hospital was more focused on charging high prices and maximizing insurance claims than actually caring about the patient’s health or comfort. Every step seemed unnecessarily expensive, with no transparency or justification.
The receptionist was especially disrespectful and unprofessional, showing a bad attitude and speaking in a rude manner, which is unacceptable in a healthcare environment where patients are already stressed.
The only positive part of my experience was Dr. Emad Hamdy, who was professional, respectful, and genuinely focused on the patient. Unfortunately, he was the exception. Most of the other doctors and staff did not meet even basic professional standards.
Overall, this hospital seriously needs to improve its communication, customer service, staff professionalism, and ethical approach to billing and insurance. I would not recommend City Hospital unless major changes are made.

Waiting times were unreasonably long, and there was a serious lack of communication between departments. Cleanliness and hygiene standards were also not up to expectations. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone seeking proper medical care.
