Marriott Hills and its ambitious project to build the first city in Egypt to implement sustainability standards on the North Coast of Egypt. Frankly, I admire them greatly for their determination to achieve their vision, even though projects of this type don’t generate huge profits and can even result in financial losses due to high construction costs.

My advice to them is to also focus on traditional projects, as shareholders are more concerned with achieving profits at the end of the year than with providing a sustainable environmental model. At the same time, they should present a small-scale model of a sustainable city so they can continue operating and investors remain enthusiastic about partnering with them.

My second piece of advice is to seek a loan from European banks that prioritize sustainability. They will find many banks and institutions that can help them realize their dream.
