ABK – Egypt, National Bank of Kuwait

This is one of the worst banks a customer could ever deal with. I absolutely do not recommend opening an account with this bank, and I certainly don’t recommend dealing with this particular branch. The level of slowness and sluggishness is unbearable. I think the employees aren’t there to work; they’re just strolling around the bank. (The employee told me, “I shouldn’t have taken any more customers and should have closed my paperwork, but I took you because you were upset.”) I don’t know what kind of job allows her to close her paperwork at 12 noon and not take any customers. And you, sir, I have to be upset because I’ve been waiting for two hours for you to stop pacing between your desk and the teller. Someone needs to explain to them that we deposit money with them; we’re not just going to ask for a favor.
