I had a very bad experience with the office, specifically with someone named Hossam. I went there on the night of May 10th to rent a place, and he told me about comprehensive insurance and drew up a contract for it. All the details of the contract were strange. He took my passport and driver’s license, and honestly, I was going to rent, but something came up, and I had to leave and forgot my passport. The strange thing is, the next day, when I got my passport, he told me I had to pay him for a day because I delayed him. He refused to accept a Visa or a bank transfer. I was coming to Egypt from Saudi Arabia for work and didn’t have time to waste. I shouldn’t have brought security with me, honestly, but I was afraid of wasting time. It was an unbelievable exploitation of my situation. He also took 3000 Egyptian pounds from me in cash and told me I had to pay him something. I told him it was from my own pocket so I could get through the night; any longer would make things worse. He took it immediately, of course, and returned my passport and driver’s license. The employee is very, very bad and exploitative.
