The views were lovely and the waiters were polite, but the food we ordered — just a couple of soups — took an unusually long time to arrive. They also didn’t accept card payments, and when we paid in euros, they charged a 12% conversion fee, which felt excessive and unfair.

This is a review based on my experience tonight. I am a British solo traveller and I have been in Cairo four nights. This is by FAR the best place i have eaten at.
Firstly I want to say the food is amazing and is cooked fresh. Be prepared to wait, why rush, escape from the chaos of Giza/Cairo.
Secondly this is a local restaurant and as such do not expect many tourists and respect the local traditions, embrace it. As such don’t expect alcohol.
The views here are amazing at night (and I image in the day too) with the ability to clearly here the audio from the light show at the pyramids as well as seeing them obviously.
The staff here are so well mannered which can be rare for a tourist in a local restaurant, they don’t obsess over you but do provide a top service. I took the time to thank the chef downstairs as well as his culinary skills were divine.
A shame I have to move on tomorrow from Cairo otherwise I would definitely be here again! 😍🙏🏻

Don’t let the location concern you!! It’s a little 5 minute walk from the entrance of the pyramids, but totally worth it!! The food is excellent, the price is great, and view is stunning!!
The staff and owner is very welcoming, friendly, and kind people.
Walk away from the tourist traps, and stroll 5 mins to this lovely restaurant and reward yourself with some tasty food and spectacular view!!
