The yellow tram from San Stefano to Qaid Ibrahim, why was the air conditioning turned off?
It was a great feature that it had air conditioning. Why can’t we keep the good things and leave the things that don’t suit Alexandria? The tram’s air conditioning is a major attraction, especially for tourists. If I had known before boarding that the air conditioning was off, I wouldn’t have taken it. These projects are cheaper and faster. A little more love and attention for Alexandria; it deserves better.

My family and I were riding the red double-decker bus from Qaitbay Citadel to Miami. There were five of us, including three children (all under four years old). We paid for five tickets, but the employee (whose name was Mr. Mohamed, and who refused to give his full name, telling me and his colleague that the company would identify him from the ticket number) insisted I pay for six. When I refused, he stopped the bus and said he would contact the relevant authorities. I didn’t object, but his colleague, the driver, apologized and resolved the issue by having me buy extra tickets that I shouldn’t have had to pay for. In addition, the air conditioning on the ground floor wasn’t working, and the conductor (Mr. Mohamed) refused to open the back door while we were waiting, claiming it was broken.
I do not recommend using this company’s services again due to the poor treatment of passengers by their staff, despite the tourist-grade ticket prices.

It is the authority responsible for public transportation in Alexandria. Like all such authorities and companies, it is not managed by business professionals. We wish it success, but it lacks the necessary elements, despite the government’s generous spending.
