Alfred & Mina Beauty Salon New Cairo

Unfortunately, this was not a good experience, and I didn’t even end up getting my haircut.

I had booked over the phone for a specific time and was told to come in then. I arrived as instructed, but waited for an hour and still wasn’t seen. I had booked with Alfred.

There were a lot of people waiting, and the whole process felt very slow and unorganised. I understand that salons can get busy, but there really needs to be a proper booking system in place so appointments and timings can be managed more efficiently.

It’s also concerning that you aren’t given your exact appointment time until the morning of the appointment, apparently because the salon doesn’t know the owner’s schedule in advance. This makes it very difficult to plan your day and doesn’t feel like an effective way to manage bookings.

Overall, I was very disappointed with the experience and left without getting my haircut after setting aside the time to attend.

Did lowlights and cut with Kirollos and Fady and they were beyond amazing. They spent hours on my hair and when I didn’t like the result the first time I came back a few days later completely changed it up with no extra charge. To be honest what I liked about the place is that they really cared about their clients and their work. They really put in their best and they deeply care about their work. They’re honest, dedicated, friendly and talented. For price reference I paid 8k for lowlights, cut and blowdrying/styling.
I actually read the other negative comments before I went especially that I live in Canada and only had one shot before I left the country. Look I don’t know about the other staff to be honest although they seemed friendly as well but Kirollos and Fady were more than wonderful to work with and the salon manager was also understanding when I came back the second time to fix my highlights and didn’t charge anything. Truly wonderful experience and will definitely be going back!
