The Asian Corner isn’t actually on a corner (pun intended 😉 ) it is located upstairs from Ovio, right in the heart of the restaurant hub on Street 18. It’s the closest location for us to get Asian food, however it took us a long time us to finally return here as my daughter was craving for Asian food. She had the sweet and sour chicken dish, while my wife and I shared the garlic fish, dumplings, and a open type of shrimp dumplings, which were very tasty. Overall, the food was great. The rice portions (you should order extra as they’re not provided as a side dish) were plentiful—we ordered two and left completely full. It’s a good spot for Asian cuisine, specifically East Asian dishes. They do offer Indian-style samosas as well, but in my opinion, their East Asian menu is better.

By far the worst noodles I’ve ever tasted in my life .. it was basically boiled pasta dipped in some soup with beef sprinkled on top, also the service was awful , the waiter was unprofessional while putting down the food and lacked basic service manners, this is my first time I go to this restraunt and surely my last.. very disappointing. The spring rolls and dumplings were okay, though.

Not my first time at Asian Corner in Maadi, and honestly it’s always my go to whenever I’m craving Asian food. I never worry about the taste, portions, or quality they’re always consistently good.

We walked in during Ramadan about 30 minutes before Iftar without a reservation, and the staff were very welcoming and quickly arranged a table for us. The service was great and the food came out with excellent quality.

    We ordered:
    • Murgh Makhani – absolutely delicious with a very good portion.
    • Chicken Szechuan (Spicy) – really tasty.
    • Chicken Korma – milder compared to the other dishes, but perfect for anyone who enjoys creamy chicken soup flavors and lighter spices.
    • Wonton – amazing as always, and the sauce on the side was sweet and very nice.
    • Shandong Zucchini – a must try

Overall, one of the best times I’ve had there ♥️

The perfect place for Asian food. They make amazing Indian food too.
I recommend trying Shantong (fried zucchini with a special sauce made from chili, garlic, and vinegar).
    Noodles are amazing.
The only comment is that they serve noodles with too much sauce at the bottom of the plate. And the price is a little higher than others.
