I tried the fava bean and falafel breakfast, and they were good, but the service was a bit slow.

The place is very respectable and the prices are excellent for the generous portions and outstanding quality. Try the charcoal-grilled chicken, grilled chicken, vegetables, pizza, and stuffed intestines… literally homemade! For the third year in a row, they’ve been truly exceptional, and the best team is Mr. Farouk and the rest of the men.

On a Friday, wanting to have the traditional breakfast of the day, a simple shop served fava beans with tahini, delicious stuffed falafel, fried potatoes, sliced and fried eggplant, pickles, baba ghanoush, tahini, boiled eggs, local salad, fresh local bread, and iced water… In the name of God, and praise be to God…

I’m from Saudi Arabia, but I came to Marsa Matrouh and tasted this shawarma. I’ve been thinking about its taste for a month and a half now; it’s incredibly delicious! It’s the first time in my life I’ve tasted shawarma this good. I wish I knew the recipe so I could make it at home in Saudi Arabia, or I’d ask Awlad Abbas to open a branch in Saudi Arabia because I can’t get over how delicious it is.
