The prices are ridiculously high; you’ll pay for everything you breathe! What does a hair dryer cost? 450 EGP? Even the service is awful, and you have to pay before the service is even done because if you don’t like what they do, no one will refund your money!

The place is nice, clean, and chic, everything… but the staff are awful and incredibly rude, whether it’s Marwa or Nadi. I’m supposed to be wearing a hijab, and there are men outside; the door doesn’t close, so there’s no privacy or respect for the hijab. Besides that, their work is terrible, whether it’s washing my hair—water got in my ears and on my face—or straightening and blow-drying. It was a terrible experience for my hair.

I worked with Marwa’s hair… she’s rude. As soon as I got her, I asked her not to press on my hair because it can’t handle heat and I just wanted a blow dryer.
Of course, I washed my hair, didn’t comb it, and didn’t dry it. She started working right away. And of course, she was pulling my hair, and it was breaking because it was wet and unmanageable. I smelled burning and asked her to stop (knowing that my hair is fine and soft, but frizzy, so it doesn’t need anyone pressing hard on it). She replied, “It’s your hair, it has to move around.” I told her, “Then don’t press too hard on it, it’ll burn.” She said, “Why are you being so difficult and what’s with your attitude?” I told her, “Fine, find me someone else to do it.” She said, “There’s no one else but me.” I said, “Okay, continue, but don’t press too hard.” She let go of my hair and called another one named Menna, who was nice. I smelled the burning in my hair for the next girl and for the receptionist. I usually get my hair done by Nabil, and it’s amazing there (but Marwa is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I don’t recommend anyone deal with her).
