Brighty Dental Clinic – Dr. Abdullah Metwally

I’m sharing my experience to help others avoid going through what I went through at this clinic as it was deeply disappointing and led to complications I never had before.

‏I initially visited for cosmetic veneers on 16 teeth, despite having no prior dental issues, pain, or sensitivity. After the first session, where my teeth were shaved down, I experienced severe, unbearable pain once the anesthesia wore off. The prescribed painkillers were ineffective, and I was told this was “normal” and would improve after placing the veneers
‏Five days later, the veneers were installed, but the fit was clearly incorrect. I struggled to even close my mouth properly, and the pain intensified significantly. Instead of addressing the issue properly, my complaints were dismissed as simple sensitivity
‏Over multiple follow-up visits, they attempted to adjust the veneers, but instead ended up damaging their appearance and leaving me in constant pain. At one point, crude fixes were made just to make them appear usable, which ultimately failed. During the removal process, additional damage was done to my natural teeth — something later confirmed by another dentist who treated me afterward
‏Eventually, I was told that all 16 teeth required root canal treatment, which had never been necessary before this procedure. This led to a long and exhausting treatment journey between different branches because there wasn’t a qualified doctor available to handle the case in one location
‏Even after completing the root canals, the second set of veneers was also poorly fitted. This caused ongoing discomfort, difficulty eating, and food trapping that resulted in persistent bad odor.
‏Before traveling, I specifically asked for reassurance that everything was fine, and I was told not to worry. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different, and I was left dealing with the consequences abroad.
‏In addition, the quality of the veneers themselves was disappointing, as they began to discolor within a very short time.
‏The experience was further worsened by poor organization and lack of respect for my time, including long waiting hours and repeated appointment delays.

‏I am sharing my own experience so others can make an informed decision. I strongly advise caution before undergoing major dental procedures at that place

I had a wonderful experience at sheikh zayed clinic. Doctor abdulla is very professional, kind, and explains everything clearly. The staff are amazing too so friendly, helpful, and always make me feel comfortable. I really appreciate the care and attention they give. Definitely the best dental team I’ve ever been to❤️
