I booked the hotel through the worst travel agency, Dream.
I had many requests, and they were all met with “Yes, sir,” “Of course,” and “Whatever you wish for.” The booking was for two people, my husband and me, and they knew we were married. When I arrived at the room, it was for two people with separate beds. None of what we requested was provided, and the hotel staff didn’t even know we were a couple. The hotel is clean and respectable, and the staff are respectful and helpful. However, in my room, the smell of smoke was everywhere—the sheets, pillows, and sofa—it was very unpleasant. The only good thing was that the bed was comfortable. When I asked to change rooms, they didn’t hesitate to do so. It was indeed clean, and the smell wasn’t smoke, but the bed felt like you were sleeping on a rock. I contacted them, and they said all the rooms are the same and they don’t have any mattresses. The dryer in the bathroom works for exactly two minutes and then shuts off. It works again the next day. I contacted them, and a technician came and said he would fix the problem. I tried to use it the next day, and it was the same; they hadn’t fixed it or replaced it. They contacted me later and said it wasn’t broken, but that’s just how it works. I spent two days cleaning the bathroom. It doesn’t get cleaned until I call them to clean it. I don’t know why everything has to be ordered.

And the tissues… it’s normal for the room to run out of tissues, and when the cleaner comes, she sees they’re empty and throws away the empty box, but she doesn’t replace them. She has to order them.

This place is like a luxury gem! you’d be lucky to stay here while in Cairo!!
