This restaurant used to be one of my favorites, but unfortunately the quality has gone downhill.
The food and service have both declined, and the overall experience is no longer what it used to be.
It’s disappointing to see such a noticeable drop in standards.
I really hope they can get back to the quality that made this place great in the first place.
The service was slow, unprofessional, and lacked attention to customers. Staff seemed uninterested in helping.
Sweet 'n' Sour
I drank one of the best coffees I’ve ever had and ate one of greatest pancakes. So if it’s that great, what’s the issue? One thing, The staff.
People there are extremely rude and unbothered. I can easily go there, sit on a table, spend 2 hours and nobody will come and ask me anything.
I had to go to the counter and make an order, and ask for the cheque.
I asked one of the guys there about shisha and he looked at me like I murdered his family or something, called another guy about it, and then left, and nothing happened. Nobody came to check, nobody is interested in serving anyone. The only person who is actually doing his job there is one of the shisha guys, he is the only one asking people, roaming around, interacting with customers. The rest of the staff is just standing there doing nothing.
This place has potential to be one of the greatest places in cairo, unfortunately it’s not and probably will never be.

The latte I had there was one of the best. Tiramisu was decent and overall atmosphere was cool. Only problem is that they allow smoking indoors. which was kind of annoying because I sat indoors to stay awayfrom smoke in the first place

I really don’t understand the seating setup at Cavello—tables are crammed so close together that it barely feels comfortable. On top of that, they have two huge screens blasting bright lights for no clear reason. No one’s watching them, and they just end up being distracting and unpleasant.
The prices are way too high for the quality of the drinks, which don’t quite justify the cost. Despite having a large staff, the service was surprisingly slow. The only thing I truly appreciated was that they’re open after midnight—hard to find in this part of the city.

It’s a nice restaurant and cafe. The indoor and outdoor spaces are nice. We tried the American coffee and it was delicious and the taste of it is pretty good. It’s good for friends and family as well. Allocated within the Family Park with available car parking in front of it and easy reachable by public transportation
