I’ve tried this restaurant before. The chicken is still excellent

However, the fries were disappointing this time. They tasted like they were reheated and not freshly made.

The pigeon rice casserole was tasty and unique, but for that price, I expected a more portion of pigeon meat.

I knew about the place before i went there to dine. I was close to the restaurant so i decided to try it at an odd hour during the day when no one usually dines. I am not a big fan of dining outside hotels in Egypt but let’s try Chiquita.

I would summarize my experience in the following: the potato wedges are definitely the best I’ve had- I would say that’s their signature item on the menu as it doesn’t taste the same anywhere else. peri peri sandwich was great.

Something I enjoyed was the kind of music the played at the place.

Nice cozy joint. Warm atmosphere. This family owned business is a charm. The food was ok. The onion rings were to die for, the soups too. The rotisserie chicken leaves a lot to envy. It was very well cooked over charcoal but flavorless. It needs the extra “umpf” to elevate it. All in all the place is recommended for a quick middle of the week bite
