I’m a sales manager at a leading company in their field, and I made time to visit them. I went for a visit and stood for fifteen minutes at reception with no one answering my calls. Finally, a girl from the cafeteria approached me. I asked her for the reception desk, and she started asking why I was there, who I was, and things like that.
Then, I called a man from the stairs, a rather older, calm man. He greeted me and said, “What’s up? Please come in.” I introduced myself and asked to speak with the technical office. He said it was difficult. I asked, “So, what do they do when someone wants to contact them?” He said, “They call to schedule an appointment.” I told him, “That’s exactly why I came, so please give me a number to call and schedule an appointment.” He gave me a mobile number, which turned out to be a call center number. I called them more than three times. They took the numbers and emails and kept saying, “Yes, yes.” Finally, I asked them, “What’s the problem? Why is it so difficult? We can meet company-to-company.” They told me, “It’s not allowed, sir.” I swear to God, you’re the difficult people. And I’m never setting foot in your place again. Zero meeting. Zero interest. Zero.
